Last week was the first time Bob and I had a date night since Freya was born almost 10 weeks ago. Ideally we would have loved to have a date night earlier but it’s incredible how quickly the time passes with a baby. After an indulgent evening out on Friday, we decided to have a cosy evening in on Saturday with baby, pizza, wine and rugby.
A few weeks back, my sibling and I jaunted off on a road trip to East Kilbride to stay with our gran before she moved house and also to see our young half-brother James as well. Whilst we were there, our gran decided to treat us to a lovely meal at Zucca Ristorante located in East Kilbride town itself. She had only been once before herself but she loved it and wanted to share it with us as well. I’m so pleased she did because we had an amazing meal and would definitely go again if we go back to the town.
Starters included bruschetta for me:
Soup of the day for my brother: ( I think it was tomato and red pepper)
Minestrone soup for my Gran:
Mains were as follows: Prawns for my gran which looked nice
Pepperoni pizza for my brother:
Half spicy chicken pasta and half spicy pizza which was huge and I struggled to eat it all.
All of the food tasted amazing and the service was very efficient despite it being a busy Friday night. I would give it an easy 10/10 for food quality and service.
Hope you enjoyed the foodie photos…
