After having a baby a mere 11 weeks ago, I decided I would do a mini-series gift guide this year and work it around something close to my heart; pampering. It will feature a selection of my favourite gifts from different brands and new posts will be going live every 3-4 days. First up on the brand list is L’Occitane and some excellent Christmas presents for her.
Cherry Blossom Festive Bauble
I’ve done a beauty fan gift guide so far in the run up to Christmas but rather than do a guide for her or him like a lot of people, I decided to think out the box and do a round-up of affordable camera’s that might be perfect for the selfie fan or someone who is looking for a decent camera that’s not crazy expensive.
1. Polaroid iZone: This has 8x zoom and the option to control it from your phone.
2. Polaroid IF045: This is fab for the selfie fan with a built-in screen.
3.Polaroid IS525: perfect for someone looking for an underwater camera allowing you to take photos down to 10ft in the water.
4. Instax Mini 8: delivering instant photos that are bold and vibrant.
5. Sony W800: A great digital camera with a camera of 20.1 MP
6. Nikon Coolpix A10: An easy to use camera with a 16.1 Mp camera
If you’re looking for an affordable camera that is something fun and alternative then I hope this guide has pointed you in the right direction and have a great christmas.
It’s may not be December yet but everyone I know seems to be doing some form of Christmas shopping lately and I felt it the best time to share one of my Christmas gift guides with you.
The first one on my list is a beauty themed gift guide for all those beauty fans in your life and I’m sharing 5 of my favourite choices with you that might be just the thing you are looking for.
First up is the Skin Chemists advanced caviar skincare range. This range is amazing and has made my skin feel great. I’m working on my skin a lot on the run up to my wedding so this has been a saviour. The serum RRP is £85.00* so is perhaps on the pricey range for some of you but definitely worth it. The duo moisturiser RRP is £84.00* so again it’s on the pricier side but if you have a big beauty lover in your life then it’s definitely worth the money. Skin Chemists do a whole range of products not just specifically this range but if you visit their site and search by target area then you will find something that fits.
Next up on the gift guide is the NY’s Ultimate Brush Set. Now every beauty lover out there has a set of makeup brushes which could range from something on the cheaper side to the more expensive. I have a couple of sets myself but this one is absolutely stunning. I love that all the brushes and beauty blender came in a handy leather style case and most of all, they are all synthetic, cruelty free and vegan. I love that the range is cruelty free as I have heard some stories in the past which made me worry about the quality of my brushes. They are super soft and easy to use which makes them the perfect gift. The RRP is £29.99* and is great value for money.
3rd on the gift guide is the Cocowhite oil pulling 2 week course. Now I would only purchase this as a gift if you think it’s something that would benefit the person i.e. they mentioned teeth whitening. I’ve done a similar course like this before which made my teeth a lot whiter and this one does not disappoint. This RRP’s for £19.99* and is well worth the money with great end results.
Next up and a firm favourite of mine is the Magnitone cleansing brush. I got this last year and it has done wonders for my skin. I used it continually for 28 days and my skin never looked better. I’ve been a bit rubbish with this of late so it’s been integrated back into my skincare routine. I would definitely purchase one of these if you need something a little different for someone in your life. These start at about RRP £70.00* depending on what you are looking for but are well worth the price.
Last on my gift guide is the Dermalogica Skin Health heroes range. This great mini range is perfect for testing out whether the products suit your skin or not without risking buying full size options. I love this range anyway so I knew the products would be great on my skin but it’s always worth buying smaller or sample size ones first just to check. This RRP’s for around £15.00* so an absolute bargain for a high end skincare range like this.
My best piece of advice before buying anything for the beauty lover in your life is to check their beauty drawers/cupboards to see what they like/use. Then you can figure it out from there. If you want to completely surprise them then one of the options on this list will definitely blow them away.
