I started my maternity leave 4 weeks before Freya was due. Funnily enough, my words to my colleagues were that I would more than likely have the baby early as I wanted to spend those 4 weeks watching lots of TV and working on my blog.
I obviously jinxed myself as 2.5 weeks later Freya arrived into the world and all the TV shows I had planned to watch were side-lined to being a mama. Now Freya is 7 weeks old, we are slowly getting into a better routine which means binge-watching TV shows is back on my agenda for a rainy afternoon. I am not ashamed to admit that a bit of bad weather is welcome in this house as it means lots of playtime indoors and TV show watching. We are lucky to have some excellent quality televisions in our house to watch these shows on however if I could, I would absolutely purchase a Panasonic Oled 4K TV as the quality of the screen is just amazing, and makes everything clearer.
My first ever beauty review and I decided to review my recent purchase of the Nip + Fab Dragon’s Blood Fix pads. I spotted them on offer whilst browsing the aisles of my local Superdrug in York. I have always admired the range and this was one of the first products that I spotted that I immediately wanted to buy and try out.
The product review on the Nip + fab site and on the side of the product states that the pad’s should “refresh and smooth skin, cleanse your pores and provide long lasting hydration to help your skin appear plumper.” I would absolutely agree that after a few days of using these my skin definitely felt smoother and also gave my skin a better complexion. I have really problematic skin and have to be careful what products I use, so I was relieved they didn’t irritate me instead.
I also felt like my skin had more elasticity and did look that bit plumper which is great as my skin can sometimes look a bit dulled out. Overall I was more than impressed with the pads and will definitely look to purchase them again.
My immediate thought when I saw these beauties on the shelf was in relation to game of Thrones and all fans out there will understand. I felt like a Khaleesi using these on myself.
