A few months ago when blogging was still a pretty new thing to me, I wrote about how I have hundreds of beauty products and my plan was to blog about them and compare. If you read my blog then you will see that this plan lasted a grand total of about 2 posts and then ended. The main reason for this is due to the fact that I have been lucky enough to try to review lots of other products and the collections posts took a back seat.
Well… I’m back! To share all my different collections of products and hopefully provide you lovely people with some fantastic reviews in the next few months so you can decide if the products are for you too.
So as you can see from the main picture above, I have a lot of different sets that need using. I am currently using a mix of everything if I’m honest because they all do different things. The sets are made up of….
A range of Soap & Glory products which I absolutely love and always get sets at christmas because it’s a known fact how much I love them.
Some Nourish skin products which I won in a twitter competition from London Grace. I can’t wait to start using these products as they look incredible.
Some Eucerin skin goodies for sensitive skin. These are perfect for my very annoying skin as they cater for sensitive and dry skin which ticks the boxes for me. I also won these in a twitter competition from Escentual.
Two incredible SBC Gels goodies to try out which were sent by SBC directly to try out after featuring some of their gels on a post 2 weeks ago. I love this brand and so far these two products are outstanding.
Tanning goodies up next from For All My Eternity. I’m not a big tanning person because due to my Casper like skin, false tan normally makes me a bit orangey. I am willing to try these out all in the name of science to get a good review.
Lastly I have some La Roche Posay treats to use. I tried them a few months ago and my skin at the time didn’t handle the products very well however this time round, my skin seems to be ok.
This is a bit of an introductory post to my hoard of beauty products so keep your eyes peeled for the reviews coming in the next couple of months. Hopefully if you have been eyeing any of them up for yourself then you will find the posts useful.
Thanks for reading
Now we are heading into a bit better weather and its officially May, I feel its high time to change my nail colours from dark and luxurious colours to bright and fresh colours that remind me more of Spring. I have a huge collection of nail varnish after receiving a lot from family members last Christmas and the odd splurge from me in the Models Own January sales.
I love experimenting with my nails even though im not very arty but do have lots of varnishes with glitter, glitter on its own, nail art pens and velvet texture to add-on top. I have picked a selection of my favourite colours to share with you now the weather is getting lovely.
First up is the Models Own Apple Scented varnish, this is one of my favourites as to my surprise it actually does have an appley scent to it. The green is a lovely pale colour that looks lovely with a couple of coats.
Next up is the BarryM gelly blue colour, which again I love. It’s a gorgeous sky blue colour but the gelly part means only one coat is required and it still looks great.
I also love the BarryM gelly lilac colour which again only needs 1 coat of varnish and still has a fab shine to it. I can always rely on the BarryM varnishes to have some staying power and not chip much.
Lastly,I love the pink colour couture varnish which needs about 2 coats to really give it a great pinky colour and shine. I got it as part of a huge set from BHS one christmas but it doesn’t chip easily which is always really impressive.
and Here is what they look like on….
I will share more of my many colours in the next few months as the seasons change again and I hope you enjoy the colours I have chosen.
have you tried any other colours you could recommend to me?
A couple of weeks ago I wrote about My Mascara Collection and how I am trying to use up all my various products etc before buying any new ones. It’s a way to clear some space in my storage and also spend less money hopefully. I wrote that I would do a post about the results of each mascara and which 1 was my current favourite to use, so here are the results. Please excuse my unruly eyebrows, they seemed to go insane as the pictures went on.
First up, the naked eye…
Next we have the lashes using W7 Flirty eyes mascara…
Then I used the Bourjois Volume Glamour Max Holidays mascara…
Next up is the Rimmel Kate mascara…
Using Maybelline Falsies mascara…
And lastly the Soap & Glory Thick & fast mascara…
I will admit it is quite hard to pick a favourite as they all come out quite differently. I would probably use the Maybelline or the Bourjois for a night out or meal etc. I have been using the W7 for day-to-day wear but I might start using the Soap & glory mascara instead as I love the results. Hope you have enjoyed reading this little results post.
