I’ve spoken about baby weaning on the blog before and shared our experience with both traditional and baby-led weaning. As a first time parent it can be hard to know the right route to go down but I know that the way we did it worked well and I would follow the same route again if we are lucky enough to have a second child.
I’m always on the lookout for new products to try with Freya so when BabyLed Spreads got in touch to review their range, I jumped at the chance to try something new and get cooking.
I haven’t blogged for a few weeks partially down to having no idea where to start with writing a post and feeling a little unmotivated with blogging and social media. I’ve still been putting up the odd Instagram post but nowhere near as regularly and after a bit of a refresh the last few weeks, I’m feeling confident about writing again and achieving goals.
I thought I’d start by sharing how weaning has gone for us since we started 3 months ago and the ups and downs of baby weaning when it’s your first baba. To kick things off, here’s a snap of Freya enjoying her first ever food: pureed peas. Looking back it’s amazing to see how far she’s come along with food and when I scrolled through the photos form the early days, I couldn’t help but laugh at her facial expressions.
