Ways to save money: Baby clothes

I spoke on my previous post about sharing my money-saving tips and since becoming a parent, I’ve become even stricter with how I spend money. One of the areas we’ve tried to be strict on as a whole is how much we spend on Freya’s wardrobe. I absolutely love a bargain so thought I’d share how we’ve filled Freya’s next stage wardrobe which is 12-18 months.

Naturally the first thing I do when planning Freya’s wardrobe is write out a list of what we need for her usually looking along the lines of:

1.Vests

2.Coat/Jacket

3.Tops/Leggings/Outfits

4.Swimwear

5.Socks/Nightwear

+ other things that I’ve spotted or forgotten about.

Tu at Sainsbury’s Picks

I’m a big fan of supermarket clothing nowadays especially when it comes to shopping for Freya. They always have a good choice when it comes to baby clothing, and given they are in the clothing for such a short amount of time in the early days, it’s not to heavy on the bank balance either.

I thought I’d share one of my favourite supermarket ranges which is Tu @ Sainbury’s and pick out some of my current favourites. I’ve always shopped here for Freya and love their clothing for myself as well so I’m a shopper for life I think.

A Tu Baby Sale Haul

A few days ago I shared a baby sale haul from a very well-known high street brand and it’s time to share another. I bet everyone is thinking how jammy I must have it on maternity leave eh because I’m spending so much. Wrong! I’m just excellent at saving for the future and getting a bargain so here is my Tu baby sale haul; most of which had plenty of stock still in my local store if you’re near York.

A fab set of 4 mix n match tops which I also got the matching set of 3 leggings for too.
