A couple of weeks ago I wrote about My Mascara Collection and how I am trying to use up all my various products etc before buying any new ones. It’s a way to clear some space in my storage and also spend less money hopefully. I wrote that I would do a post about the results of each mascara and which 1 was my current favourite to use, so here are the results. Please excuse my unruly eyebrows, they seemed to go insane as the pictures went on.
First up, the naked eye…
Next we have the lashes using W7 Flirty eyes mascara…
Then I used the Bourjois Volume Glamour Max Holidays mascara…
Next up is the Rimmel Kate mascara…
Using Maybelline Falsies mascara…
And lastly the Soap & Glory Thick & fast mascara…
I will admit it is quite hard to pick a favourite as they all come out quite differently. I would probably use the Maybelline or the Bourjois for a night out or meal etc. I have been using the W7 for day-to-day wear but I might start using the Soap & glory mascara instead as I love the results. Hope you have enjoyed reading this little results post.
You all know I am a lover of a new skin care product or trying something different. I am a bit fussy with the types of product I use and try not to overload on products in one go. Recently I have been lucky enough to receive lots of new skin care goodies to try out and test but I have had to do them in phases as not to freak my face out!! I received the following product in exchange for an honest review.
This time I have been trying out the Insta Natural Vitamin C Serum which on the bottle states is for Ultimate Youth & beauty. I have been trying to be healthier lately and have been taking regular vitamins as well as doing more exercise and this fit right in with the new me regime I have been doing. I have been using the serum every other day as part of my skin care routine and only using a few drops at a time as the consistency doesn’t mean you need much. I have been mainly using it on my neck and face to see if it makes me more youthful. (Yes I know I’m only 24 but you can never be too pro-active with these things!)
The main thing I was impressed with is the smell of the serum. I won’t lie, I didn’t know what to expect scent wise but I guess I should have assumed Vitamin C would imply Oranges! The scent is a lovely orange but not too overpowering which is good as too much of it would have been horrendous. I have found that the serum has made my skin lovely and soft without leaving a coating or feeling too thick which is good. I would definitely buy this product again.
Overall I have been really impressed with this serum and would recommend any of the Insta Natural products. They do a huge range of serums, cleansers, supplements and much more. I would like to thank the lovely people at Insta Natural for sending me this product to review and I have loved trying it out.
If any of you read My Mascara Collection post a couple of weeks ago, you will know that I am trying to use up the vast majority of my beauty and skin care products before spending more money on new ones. I have gained a huge collection from christmas gifts and things I have bought on a whim so I need to have a proper sort out and try to use some up. This post is about my M&S collection of beauty products, all of which I received as a gift at christmas.
The collection contains 3 different eau de toilette’s, 3 bath oils and 3 body lotions. The are centred around 3 different scents; Azure, New York and Isis (I know, there was some media attention around the 3rd one when it came out). I have been using the Azure one up first perfume wise but I need to start making use of the other lovely products as well.
The Azure fragrance has a very fruity spring scent to it which is why I have been mainly using this one lately as it’s a lovely fresh scent. The New York fragrance is very sultry and would make a perfect scent for a date night. It’s sweet yet not overly fruity or floral, I really like this one as well. The Isis fragrance is more floral with a bit of spice and again a lovely scent. I would definitely use all 3 scents and can’t wait to make use of the bath oils and body lotions as well.
I will be aiming to use these up as soon as possible without wasting them and will be posting more about my collections as we go so keep your eyes peeled.
