Geek Girl: All that Glitters Review & Giveaway

I have been reading lots of books recently, one of which is Geek Girl: All That Glitters by Holly Smale. I read the first book in the serious titled Geek Girl, a couple of months ago and despite it being aimed mainly at teens/young adults (and I am 25!), I really enjoyed the story. I am not ashamed to admit that I love these kinda books and will happily read them in the space of a week.

I have been reading this book on my daily commute to and from work and it’s an easy to follow story therefore I got through the book in a few days. The story follows Harriet Manners as she juggles going back to sixth form and still doing her modelling on a side. She goes back to sixth form and tries to re-invent herself to people she already knows and many new faces. Harriet is also struggling with the fact that she has broken up with her boyfriend who lives in Australia while she herself is back in the United Kingdom.

I would definitely recommend this book to someone looking for a good, light-hearted story to read or even as a gift for a teenager or young adult. Despite Harriet’s model lifestyle, her day-to-day antics are definitely something that most of us can relate to in our school/sixth form/college days and I’m sure some of us have had the same thoughts/feelings at one time or another.

Because I love this book, I am running a giveaway to win a copy of the book itself, so What are you waiting for? Get Entering below! Or if you can’t wait for luck then purchase the book yourself here.
