This week I returned to work full-time after a glorious 13 months of maternity leave. It came as quite the shock to the system but I survived the week and am now in the midst of 3 loads of washing as I write this. This week also saw Freya starting nursery 3 days a week and I can also confirm that she has enjoyed it thoroughly and is getting on well.
When it came to getting ready for nursery, we had the usual settling in sessions and I asked lot’s of questions. I got her a glamorous Pink Peppa Pig sparkly bag which she loves and started to prep her clothing. Now outfit wise I tend to send her in things I don’t mind getting dirty/ruined (lots of second-hand stuff) and same goes for her change of clothing as well. However when it came the bag, her outerwear and jumpers/cardigans, I would rather not lose anything so I wanted to ensure her name was thoroughly visible on them all.
Let me introduce identitags:
If you are a reader of my blog or a follower on my Instagram then you will know I love to buy clothes for Freya. My own wardrobe is full of clothes I never wear or fit into anymore but Freya’s wardrobe is flowing with cute outfits and lots of essentials like vests and sleepwear.
With this in mind, when Mothercare got in touch to try out their Lovingly Made Baby Essentials, I did a little happy dance and of course obliged. Mothercare have created a Lovingly Made, Perfectly Priced collection which contains things like baby clothing essentials and bedding. They offered to send Freya a box of products for us to review and I was very excited for the package to arrive and see what was inside.
I’ve spoken about baby weaning on the blog before and shared our experience with both traditional and baby-led weaning. As a first time parent it can be hard to know the right route to go down but I know that the way we did it worked well and I would follow the same route again if we are lucky enough to have a second child.
I’m always on the lookout for new products to try with Freya so when BabyLed Spreads got in touch to review their range, I jumped at the chance to try something new and get cooking.
