I received an email a few weeks ago about doing a challenge in partnership with the Yorkshire Dentistry company which was to use makeup to try and make me smile brighter. I am a big teeth person (weirdo I know!) and my teeth are one of the things I rather like about my self. I also notice teeth on other people all the time and it’s the first thing I normally look at. I reckon I look mental when I’m just staring at teeth but it’s just something I do.
They sent me a lovely parcel of makeup bits and pieces to use that might help make my teeth appear whiter and I also added my own colours as well
Here was the starting photo with nothing on at all…
I then tried out 2 lip colours one brighter than the other to see if it would help to bring out the whiteness or my teeth and compared…
I used a lipliner with one to outline my lips and then on the other used loose powder round the outline of my lips to make the look more prominent. I would definitely agree that it is possible for your teeth to shine more using a bright colour etc or even a blue toned lipstick.
The Yorkshire Dentistry company does teeth whitening packages starting from £245. I always take care of my teeth myself and brush twice a day including flossing to make sure I look after them. I had braces as a teenager and would hate to ruin all that hard work now later in life.
Have you got any makeup tricks or tips you can share for making your teeth whiter?
