February Empties

It’s that time of month again…a post showing you all my empty products used up in the past 30 days or so. This month has absolutely flown and I’m always shocked by how many products I manage to use up, but here they are and hopefully you find it useful.

This month I bring you 6 fantastic products that I have been using and deciding whether they are firmly on the re-purchase list in future.

First up is Garnier Simply Essentials 2 in 1 makeup remover. Now I won’t lie, I’m not really a huge fan of makeup remover products like this after falling in love with Micellar water a couple of years ago. This does what it says on the tin and helps to take your makeup off gently without the need for scrubbing. My main bug-bear with this product was it left a slightly greasey residue on my skin which did not help with my spot problems. I won’t be buying this product again in future as it didn’t work for me that well but everyone is different. I also used up another tube of Aldi Vitamin C effervescent tablets. I started to get a bit sick of these and was pleased to stop using them as I didn’t feel the benefit of them anymore. I have started using vitamin c and multi-vitamins now instead to get the right things into my body.

Next I used up Nip+Fab Dragon’s Blood Fix Cleansing Pads. I absolutely love the Nip+Fab range of products and the dragon’s blood range is one of my favourites. These pads leave your skin refreshed and cleansed and are also really handy to take excess make up off if there is any residue at the end of the day. These are firmly on my re-purchase list. I also used a tube of Formula 10.0.6 Best Face Forward cleansing wash. This has an amazing scent of passionfruit and green tea and does smell fresh when using it on your face. I wouldn’t say it blew me away compared to a lot of other cleansers I’ve used in the past but for an affordable option, then this is fab. I won’t purchase again but I do love the range.

Lastly 2 more sample sized products I have been testing out. First the Olay Even & Smooth light day cream. I was using this as a daily moisturiser before applying my foundation so multi-purpose as well like a primer. I love how light it feels and it doesn’t feel like an additional coating on the skin. I would 100% purchase this again in future and continue using this range as well. I also used up Clean Start Bedtime for Breakouts. This range as a whole is one of my best discoveries and I absolutely love all of the products. I will definitely be buying this again in future and have a full size one in use at the moment.

So that’s it for this months empties, I hope you feel compelled to go out and buy some of these great products. If you’ve done an empties post this month then share it in the comments and I will check them out.
